Worship Arts

God has blessed us with creative capabilities, and we want to use them to glorify Him and encourage one another. Here are a few aspects of Worship Arts at our church:

Vocal Choir

The vocal choir helps to lead us in worship each Sunday. We are grateful to have a full SATB choir. If you're intererested in joining, tap Choir Director Donna Burns on the shoulder or use the contact form on this page - she'll be glad to connect with you.

Handbell Choir

Our 3-octave handbell choir helps to lead us in worship periodically throughout the year. You may also have seen them play with the Middlesex Concert Band. If you're interested in joining the handbell choir, talk to Donna Burns after church or use the contact form on this page.

Want to see the handbell choir in action? Check out the video from the 2014 Carols and Cookies holiday concert. The handbell portion begins at about 37 minutes, 10 seconds.

Visual Arts

Some of the artwork you see hanging in our building has been designed by FBC Wakefield attendees. We believe that God is glorified when our creative efforts help to point our attention toward Him.

Creative Arts Sunday

Once a year, we invite writers, artists, craftsmen, and musicians to participate in our Creative Arts Sunday. This is an opportunity for poeple to showcase poetry, artwork, and the like which speaks to specific worship themes.
